ECAA had a strategic goal of growing its presence steadily throughout the state. In April, 2017, the Hickory division joined to provide more of a presence in the western region of North Carolina. Today, the Hickory division provides anesthetics for Frye Regional Medical Center and three surgery centers. Anesthetists will not find another division with such an incredible work/life balance. It is also an excellent location for new graduates with the onsite experience and expertise as well as the Monday through Friday schedule.
